IC: Fire Engulfs Gas'n'Gulp

Firefighters were called to the Gas'n'Gulp rest stop on U.S. 75 around eight o'clock in the evening on Friday. Upon arriving, they found the building ablaze, jets of fire exploding upward at random intervals. Fire Chief Mason Larchmont was on the scene. "It's extremely odd," he said. "The power seems to have been shut off to both the building, and the gas pumps before the fire was started."

Shortly after arriving at the scene, Officers from the Dallas Police Department said that they suspected arson. "We would normally consider this an accident," Officer Martine said, "Were it not for the fact that there appears to be vampire remains littering a tree near the back of the rest stop. The arson investigator will be able to verify our suspicions, but we believe it is likely that the fire was set to cover up the death of the vampire."

A reward is being offered to anyone with information about the death or the suspected arson. If you have information on either crime, call the Dallas Police Department or contact the Arson tip line at 1-888-55-ARSON.
