DALLAS - The Suzuki Sidekick driven by Hope Tyler before she went missing was found in the downtown area today, outside the Ravello Condominium.
Police say a call came in about 8:30 a.m. and they went to a location where Tyler's missing vehicle was found.
"A citizen reported seeing the vehicle that Miss Tyler had been driving, parked outside the condo," said Officer Rossum. "Beyond a purse located on the passenger seat, there was nothing that could be seen inside of the vehicle that was suspicious or indicated that a struggle had occurred inside of the vehicle."
Police were checking into whether or not there is a security surveillance video that may have captured evidence.
Dallas Police say the Sidekick was impounded and taken to an indoor facility to be processed. Police say the vehicle is being treated as a crime scene.
"From what we are aware, the vehicle has been parked outside the building since April 20th," said Rossum.
Tyler has been missing since Wednesday, prompting friends and police to search for the woman whose disappearance police are now calling suspicious. She was officially reported missing by Robert Cornett after not showing up for school or work.
Police are now attempting to track Tyler's cell phone in hopes of determining her whereabouts.
Rossum has said that the FBI has not yet been notified, but if the investigation exceeds a week, they may be called in. Police are not saying if they have suspects, or if they think Tyler's disappearance is related to her involvement with the Fellowship of the Sun.
Anyone with information about Hope Tyler's whereabouts should call the 24 police dispatch line.
