IC: Search Continues for Missing Officer

The search continues for Officer James Young, who went missing on May 24th, while on a routine investigation. Police are unable to release many details, because the investigation is now the subject of an internal affairs investigation.

Detective Ocho said, "Anytime something goes wrong in any operation, we conduct an internal investigation." He further said, "We're basically looking to see if there was an adherence to policy and protocol."

A source at the Dallas Police Department said that while the search is continuing, the fact that it's been nearly two weeks without word from the fellow officer, chances are that finding the man alive would be slim.
