Rumors and speculations have been spreading over the last few weeks that a relative unknown by the name of Zane Wright would be competing against Mayor McNaab in the upcoming election. Despite his lack of previous involvement with politics, Wright has proven to have a large backing based off of the members of his community.
The city reports today that these speculations are no longer rumors. As of today, Zane Wright has officially made a bid to become Mayor. At the time of this article Wright was not available for comment.
Up until this point, McNaab was all but guaranteed re-election due to lack of proper competition. It is unclear as of yet just which direction the voters will sway. It has been made clear that unlike McNaab, Wright has strong anti-vampire views. A press conference where Wright will officially announce his candidacy is schedule for Thursday morning.
