A charity basketball tournament has been organized for Wednesday, June 29, 2005, between the DPD Athletics Club and Coleman Contracting Ltd., the proceeds of which are to benefit the West Dallas Community Rejuvenation Projects. The tournament doors will open at 7:30pm at the West Dallas Recreation Center and the game will begin at 8pm. Volunteers are welcome to apply to help in various capacities and players are welcome to try out for either team. Spectator tickets may be purchased for $15 dollars in advance, or $20 at the door. OOC Information:
The scene will be held in one of the Anywhwere Rooms in the OOC area, starting at 7:30pm EST on TUESDAY, JUNE 29, 2010. (Note, the date's the same in the current year, but the weekday's different because of when the date fell in 2005.) Generally, this is going to be a fun, community-based sporting event that pits the cops and their friends against a bunch of building contractors and their friends all in the name of a good cause. Everyone's invited to attend. If you need a good character hook to get yourself involved, beyond the volunteer positions, player slots, and low entry fee, feel free to contact Corey or Leigh for more information.
